Most of the hiking trails along the Natchez Trace Parkway are nothing more than short “leg stretchers” that lead to a scenic or historical area. Nearly all are less than one mile in length. The exceptions are the trails at the Meriwether Lewis Site, a state park trail at Devil’s Backbone State Natural Area, and segments of the Natchez Trace National Scenic Trail.
Original Natchez Trace segments, often marked as Old Trace by Parkway signage, are not included in this list. They have their own listing on the Old Trace Segments web page.
The following list includes all hiking trails and their mile marker post (in parenthesis). Click the link for trail information.
