Natchez Trace Parkway | BAKER BLUFF OVERLOOK (MP 405.1)

Hike to Jackson Falls from the Baker Bluff Overlook

Hike to Jackson Falls from the Baker Bluff Overlook

There used to be an excellent view from the Baker Bluff Overlook on the Natchez Trace Parkway, but it’s gone now due to trees and other brush that have grown up since my last visit in 2015. The only attraction worth mentioning now is a trail that runs between here and Jackson Falls, which is one stop to the south. If you are interested in this hike and getting some exercise, be sure to read the Baker Bluff – Jackson Falls Trail review here on National Park Planner. If all you want to do is see the waterfall, skip the Baker Bluff Overlook and head straight to Jackson Falls.
