There are three hiking trails at Pecos National Historical Park. The Ancestral Sites Trail leads to the ruins of the Pecos Pueblo and the Spanish Mission Church. At the Forked Lightning Ranch is the South Pasture Loop Trail that takes hikers through the pastures of the ranch and comes near the Pecos River and Glorieta Creek. The third trail is the Glorieta Pass Battlefield Trail, which allows visitors to walk the battlefield and get a feel for the terrain on which the battle was fought.
See the following trail reports for more information and plenty of photos of each of the three trails:
Ancestral Sites Trail
1.25-mile loop, easy
Glorieta Battlefield Trail
