Shiloh National Military Park | CORINTH CIVIL WAR DRIVING TOUR

CORINTH CIVIL WAR DRIVING TOUR MAP

The Corinth Civil War Driving Tour includes stops at Corinth battle sites and downtown historic homes, landmarks, and museums connected to the Civil War. Only a few of these are National Park Service properties and part of Shiloh National Military Park. Many of the stops are private residences, empty lots where a structure once stood, or battlefield sites that are nothing more than empty fields with an information panel describing what occurred there, sort of George Washington Slept Here experience. Because of this, only true Civil War buffs with a day to spend in Corinth will want to do the entire tour. The typical tourist will want to pick and choose places to see, and to aid in trip planning, National Park Planner has created a virtual tour with information about all stops. You can jump directly to any stop by using the links below. At the bottom of each page is a link to the next and previous stop on the driving tour.

The official first stop of the driving tour is the Corinth Civil War Interpretive Center. Be sure to pick up a tour brochure while there, but keep in mind that map is worthless. It’s like it was drawn by a monkey with a pencil and paper. Actually, that’s not right. It’s like it was drawn by a monkey with pencil and paper who had never set foot in Corinth.
