Most of the Linville Falls Recreation Area is located on Spur Road, a road that turns off of the Blue Ridge Parkway at Mile Post 316. The campground, visitor center, and hiking trails can be found along this road, as well as two scenic overlooks. The picnic area is located on the other side of the Parkway just a few hundred yards from the Spur Road turnoff.
