Trails: Camp Creek Trail
Picnic Tables: None
The Camp Creek Overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway is completely overgrown. There is a short trail that begins behind the overlook identification sign called the Camp Creek Trail. I did not hike it, but according to the National Park Service, this is a .1-mile trail that leads through a laurel and rhododendron thicket. It starts off on a very steep hill from the parking lot. I could hear water flowing down below, so I am guessing that it ends at Camp Creek. My advice is to skip the trail and the overlook.
