There are four trails within the Linville Falls Recreation Area, all of which start at the Linville Falls Visitor Center. Three of these trails take you to different views of Linville Falls. The Erwins View Trail and Plunge Basin Trail take you above the falls, while the hike to Linville Gorge takes you to the base of the falls. A fourth trail leads to Dugger’s Creek Waterfall.
