William Web Memorial State Park is one of four peninsula parks within Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area. A paved trail circles the grounds, passing a number of memorials along the way. Fishing is allowed from the shore with the proper Massachusetts fishing license, and kayaks and canoes can be launched from the park as well. There are also two picnic areas, one that can be reserved for group events. In the winter the park is a popular location for cross-country skiing.

The park is open year-round from dawn to dusk. See the following web pages here on National Park Planner for more information on visitor activities:

The land now occupied by the park was used for farming up until 1872, at which time it was occupied by the Bradley Fertilizer company. In recent history, a Cold War-era Nike Missile facility operated on the peninsula from 1959 to 1974. The land became part of the Massachusetts State Park system in 1978 and opened to the public in 1980. The park was named after William K. Webb, a member of the Weymouth Police Department. He died in 1976.
