Hiking trail on Spectacle Island, Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area

There are hiking trails on most of the peninsula parks and some of the islands within Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area. In addition, Deer Island and Nut Island have paved paths that are open to hikers, bikers, and skaters, though the trails are much too short to justify biking. Biking is also allowed on all gravel roads at World’s End, the only unit of the National Recreation Area where biking is worthwhile.
