Food is available for sale at the Spectacle Island Visitor Center, Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area
Hot dogs, chips, pop corn, ice cream, and drinks are available for sale Wednesdays through Sundays on the porch of the Visitor Center on Spectacle Island in Boston Harbor. Cash and credit/debit cards are accepted for payment.
Once you get your food you can sit in the tent-covered outdoor seating area near the Visitor Center, and there are a half-dozen picnic tables located just a short walk south on the gravel road that runs along the shore. Even better, walk up to the top of the north or south drumlin for fantastic views. There are gazebos and picnic tables at each. See the Spectacle Island Picnic Areas web page for more information.
Spectacle Island also hosts evening clambakes on select Thursdays from late June through Labor Day. See Boston Harbor Islands National and State Park’s Food and Drink web page for more information.
