Button Island, part of Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area, is one of four small islands in Hingham Harbor, the others being Sarah, Langlee, and Ragged. The area above the high-tide mark is less than an acre, and there is nothing on it other than a few trees. However, it is close enough to the mainland to make a good target for those who want to take a paddling trip. In fact, depending on from where you depart, a round trip to all four islands is as short as two miles.

Button Island is not serviced by the public ferry.
