Main Picnic Area

When turning off of the Natchez Trace Parkway into Colbert Ferry Park, take a left at the T-intersection to begin a long drive towards the main picnic area and boat ramp. Here you will find over a dozen tables and a five grills with wonderful views of the Tennessee River and Colbert Creek, which empties into the river. Another seven tables and three grills are situated in the forested area bounding the parking area. One table has a paved path leading to it so that it is handicap accessible. A modern restroom facility is nearby.

Colbert Ferry Site

There is one picnic table (no grill) at the Colbert Ferry Site.

Ranger Station Area

There are three picnic tables (no grills) in the field located near the defunct Ranger Station at the entrance to Colbert Ferry Park. A modern restroom facility is available on the back side of the building.
