Cape Cod National Seashore | HIKING TRAILS

CAPE COD NATIONAL SEASHORE
HIKING AND BIKING TRAILS

There are twelve established hiking trails at Cape Cod National Seashore plus one hike you can make on your own to two lighthouses on the Long Point Peninsula. Only the Great Island Trail and the hike to the lighthouses will appeal to true hikers. The rest are just short nature trails. There are also roughly eleven miles of paved multi-use trails that are open to pedestrians, bikers, and skaters.

Trail maps are available at the Salt Pond and Province Lands visitor centers. You may have to ask for one at the information desk. Most trails also have a corresponding trail guide that you can pick up from a brochure box at the trailhead. If you don’t need it after the hike, be sure to return it to the box.
