The Glenrock Branch Picnic Area on the Natchez Trace Parkway is an exceptional place to picnic except for the fact that it is located at the bottom of a very steep hill. You must really want a nice view while eating if you are willing to haul your picnic supplies down to the tables.
The picnic area is situated on the banks of the Glenrock Branch (small creek) and has five tables and three grills. Trash cans are available near the tables.
There is an additional table and grill at the top near the parking lot for disabled visitors. You do get a nice view from up here as well. A modern restroom facility is also located at the top of the hill.
