Rock Creek Tennis Center in Washington, D. C.
The Rock Creek Tennis Center is located on the southeast side of Rock Creek Park at 16th and Kennedy Streets, NW. There are ten outdoor hard courts, ten outdoor clay courts, five indoor courts, and a tennis stadium. I didn’t get a look at the indoor courts, but the outdoor courts were in wonderful shape.

All courts must be reserved for a fee. Leagues and individuals can sign a contract for a season guaranteeing court availability for certain times and dates. Individuals who want to play at the spur-of-the-moment can reserve courts not taken by contract players and leagues. Lessons are also given. The Rock Creek Tennis Center hosts the annual Citi Open and other amateur and professional tennis events.
