Picnic area at the Rock Creek Nature Center
Nine picnic tables—no grills—are located out front of the Rock Creek Nature Center in an island surrounded by the circular parking lot. The tables are meant for Nature Center guests who want to have a bite to eat, not as a place to host events. All tables are taken on a first come, first served basis. If you wish to reserve a picnic area for a large group at Rock Creek Park, try Picnic Areas #1, #6, #7, #8, #9, #10, #13, or #24.
