The Edge of the Woods Trail is a handicap-accessible loop trail located near the front of the Rock Creek Nature Center. Not only is it flat and paved, but it also has a rope that runs along it so that blind people can grab hold and walk the trail as well.

As with a typical nature trail, information panels are posted along the way that describe the trees and other plants you may see.

The Edge of the Woods Trail makes its way to the back the Nature Center where you will come to the trailhead for the Woodland Trail, a half-mile loop that is not handicap accessible. For those who do not have a problem walking, you can combine the two trails together to form a Figure 8-shaped route.
