There is no scenic view from The Priest Parking Area on the Blue Ridge Parkway, and the advertised trail to the Torry Ridge Viewpoint isn’t really much of a trail. All it is is a mowed path through the weeds that leads to a bench in the forest. I am assuming that at one time you could sit down and take in the view of Torry Ridge, but like the rest of the overlook, it is now surrounded by forest.
