The purpose of the Raven Fork View stop on the Blue Ridge Parkway is to get a look at the Raven Fork (river) in the valley below, but excessive vegetation prevents you from doing so. The vegetation also blocks much of the view of the neighboring mountains. Since there are no picnic tables or trails, there is no reason to stop here.
