The view at the Osborne Mountain View pullout on the Blue Ridge Parkway is of a large mountain in the foreground—presumably Osborne Mountain—and the tops of taller mountains behind it, but none of this is all that interesting. For a much better view, take a look at the pastoral scene on the other side of the Parkway. It’s not the intended vista, but you get an excellent look at the mountains and valley, making this an overlook worth stopping at.
