The Mahogany Rock Overlook on the Blue Ride Parkway is almost completely overgrown. All that remains of the vista is the tops of a few mountains that rise a little higher than the trees blocking the view. The overlook is reached via a long driveway that ends in a sharp loop—sharp enough that vehicles towing trailers and large RVs cannot make the turn. A sign at the Blue Ridge Parkway states that no trailers are allowed, but no matter what you are driving, there is no reason to stop here.
