Lane Pinnacle is the mountain peak to the left at the Lane Pinnacle View stop on the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was named for Charles Lane, the man who owned the land in the early 1800s. The view is free of obstruction, but the mountains are very close and run parallel to the overlook, so it is not that interesting. You can also see the Craggy and Swannanoa Mountains to the center and right of the vista.
