The scenery at Jacks Branch Picnic Area on the Natchez Trace Parkway is excellent no doubt, but you must really want a view when picnicking to be willing to carry your supplies down a set of stone steps to the bottom of a steep hill. And it’s a good, long haul to get to the tables along the creek.
