Coles Creek Picnic Area on the Natchez Trace Parkway

A large picnic area along Coles Creek is situated on a well-groomed field, making it one of the nicest on the Natchez Trace Parkway. The picnic area has 19 tables, including two that are handicap accessible, and a half dozen grills. There is a scattering of tall shade trees on the property, but many of the tables are still exposed to the sun. Furthermore, while the tables are near Coles Creek, none of them are right along the water. A modern restroom facility is also available.
