Nothing other than an information panel about the Chickasaw Indian agents can be found at the Chickasaw Agency pullout on the Natchez Trace Parkway. The United States government set up agencies, which are similar to embassies, within the various Indian nation borders, and the American agent acted as a intermediary between the two governments.
