Everglades National Park | PICNIC AREAS


EVERGLADES NATIONAL PARK PICNIC AREAS


There are only two true picnic areas within Everglades National Park, one near the Long Pine Key Campground and the other at West Lake. The rest are just spots where tourists can sit and have a bite to eat, not a place where you would hold a family outing or any type of large gathering.

GULF COAST AREA

No picnic areas here, but restaurant facilities are close by.


SHARK VALLEY AREA

No picnic areas here, but restaurant facilities are close by.


ROYAL PALM AREA

Long Pine Key Picnic Area
Tables are located across the lake from the campground.


FLAMINGO AREA

Coot Bay Pond Picnic Area
Three tables, no grills, sit along the shore of the pond.

Paurotis Pond
Two tables, no grills, sit along the shore of the pond.

West Lake Picnic Area
Covered pavilion has a half dozen tables, no grills.
