Note: Electric bikes with operating pedals and motors of less than 750 watts are allowed on all trails open to regular bikes, including the Shark Valley Tram road. All other electric bikes are only allowed on roads open to vehicles.

SHARK VALLEY

Shark Valley has a 15-mile loop road that is used by pedestrians, bikers, and the Shark Valley Tram Tour. This is not a place for avid bikers.

Bikes and bike helmets are available for rent near the tram tour loading area from 8:30 AM to 4 PM. Bikes must be returned by 5 PM. Riders under 16 years old must wear a helmet.

Bikes are also allowed on the dirt trail that runs along the L-67 Canal. The 6.4-mile road (one way) road is located 5 miles east of Shark Valley. This is the only bike trail that I did not ride.
