For information on boating in Everglades National Park, see the National Park Service’s official Boating web page.

Pontoon boats and skiffs are available for rent at the Flamingo Marina. Renters do need boating experience to take the boats out onto Coot Bay and Whitewater Bay, the only places they are allowed. Houseboats are available as well. For those without experience, they can still be rented for use as floating hotel rooms.

Kayaks, canoes, and bicycles are also available for rent at the marina. This can be done in advance online or on the day of your arrival at the Activities Booth near the marina store. Only credit and debit cards are accepted. No cash.
