Three picnic tables (no grills) are located at Coot Bay Pond in Everglades National Park. This is a roadside area for people who just want to stop for a bite to eat. Trees and other vegetation block the view of the pond.

You can launch your hand-paddled watercraft from here and paddle on Coot Bay Pond, but it’s so tiny that it’s certainly not worth the effort unless you are fishing. I know it connects to Coot Bay via a quarter-mile channel, but I have no idea if the channel is navigable or clogged with debris.
