Watch Hill Visitor Center complex, Fire Island National Seashore
GENERAL INFORMATION
The Watch Hill Visitor Center at Fire Island National Seashore is located next to the ferry dock. There is a group of buildings that include the Visitor Center itself, a General Store and Camping Office on the other side of the sidewalk, and a waiting room for those taking the ferry back to Long Island.

OPERATING HOURS

EXHIBITS
There are a few exhibits at the Watch Hill Visitor Center that are spread haphazardly around the room, most of which are shell and sea creature displays. There is a Touch-table for those who want to find out what different shells and animals feel like. The exhibits aren’t set up for serious browsing, but are more for kids to mess around with while their parents are talking with a park Ranger.
