Short boardwalk gives visitor a look at the wilderness area of Fire Island National Seashore
Visitors are welcome to hike the 32 miles of Atlantic Ocean beaches at Fire Island, but as far as traditional hiking trails go, all Fire Island National Seashore has to offers is a few short nature trails that pass through the salt marshes and wilderness areas of the island.
