There are nine trails within Appomattox Court House National Historical Park. Some add to the understanding of the battle and other events that took place here, and some are for exercise purposes only. All but the Southside Connector Trail are easy to hike, and even it is no more than moderate in difficulty. Printed trail maps (same as above) are available for free at the Visitor Center in the Appomattox County Courthouse building.

See the following trail reports for information on each hike:

Connor-Sweeney Cabin Trail

Ferguson Wildlife Trail

Grant’s Approach Trail

Lee’s Headquarters Trail

Southside Connector Trail

Stage Road Trail

Sweeney Trail

Tobacco Prizery Nature Trail

Tibbs Trail
