Trails: None
Picnic Tables: None

There is no scenic view remaining at the Pilot Mountain View overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway, and with no trails or picnic tables, there is no reason to stop here.

The overlook identification sign mentions “the world’s largest surface granite quarry.” This refers to the Mount Airy Granite Quarry, which has its own overlook two stops to the south. Unfortunately, you can’t see the quarry there either.
