The view at Balsam Gap Overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway is a forest. It’s not like there’s a tree or two blocking the view, it’s literally a forest…on both sides of the road. You’d need a logging company to come in and log the place to restore whatever view that used to exist. The parking lot is huge, but there are no trails here, not even a picnic table.
