PARK FILM
A ten-minute video on what there is to see and do at Fire Island National Seashore plays on demand. Ask a park Ranger to start it for you. If you plan to hike the Sunken Forest Nature Trail, I highly recommend watching this video first because it discusses the ecosystems that you will see on the hike. There is no objectionable material, so the film is suitable for all ages.
EXHIBITS
There are a few exhibits spread haphazardly around the room, most of which are shell and sea creature displays. There is a Touch-table for those who want to find out what different shells and animals feel like. The exhibits aren’t set up for serious browsing. They are more for kids to mess around with while their parents are talking with a park Ranger.
With a few exceptions, use of any photograph on the National Park Planner website requires a paid Royalty Free Editorial Use License or Commercial Use License. See the Photo Usage page for details.
