See the Camping web page for an interactive location map.

A tents-only campsite for a group of 10 to 40 campers is available near the Fort Pickens Campground. Reservations are required and can be made up to one year in advance either online at Recreation.gov or by calling (877) 444-6777. Only one group is allowed at a time, and the campsite is usually reserved for weekends far in advance year-round. Unlike the Naval Live Oaks Youth Group Campground where only organized youth groups can camp, anyone can camp at the Fort Pickens Group Campsite as long as the group consists of at least ten people.

There is no electricity at the Fort Pickens Group Campsite. There are, however, modern restrooms with cold showers, a half dozen picnic tables, a large grill, and a fire ring. Group campers cannot use the facilities at the main campground, which vary only in that they have hot showers.

There is a large parking area for up to 12 vehicles. No camping trailers of any type are allowed.

No pets are allowed at the group campsite.
