Anacostia Park has multi-purpose fields, full- and half-size basketball courts, and tennis courts. In addition, the park has a public swimming pool, a roller skating rink, a fitness center, and playground equipment for children. All are free to use.
Organizations can host leagues and sports camps for free, but a permit must be obtained ($50 at the time of this writing), and the organization must have liability insurance. Individuals and teams can use any of the facilities free of charge for practices and pick-up games on a first come, first served basis unless they are reserved for league play.
