Anacostia Park has three full-size and two half-size basketball courts located next to the roller skating rink and two full-size courts at River Terrace Park at the northern end at Benning Road. Unless reserved for organized league play, all courts are taken on a first-come, first-served basis.

Organizations can host leagues and basketball camps for free as well, but a permit must be obtained ($50 at the time of this writing), and the organization must have liability insurance. For more information, visit the official Permits and Reservations web page for Anacostia Park.
