There are three scenic overlooks at Great Falls Park, all within a short distance of the Visitor Center and parking areas. Judging which gives the best view is an effort in futility, and each person will have a favorite.
OVERLOOK 1
Access to the first overlook is through rough terrain that is not suitable for wheelchairs. Even the overlook itself is situated on rocks, not a man-made platform as are Overlooks 2 and 3. If you have difficulty walking or are in a wheelchair, use one of the other overlooks.
OVERLOOK 2
Overlook 2 is handicap accessible and the observation deck is a level, man-made platform.
OVERLOOK 3
Overlook 3 is also handicap accessible, and the platform is level.
