ABRAMS CREEK REGION


The Abrams Creek Region of Great Smoky Mountains National Park is the westernmost section of the park. Here you will find campgrounds, a picnic area, and hiking trails.

CAMPGROUNDS

Abrams Creek Campground
Small, 16-site campground that can accommodate tent campers and small pop-ups and vans. Open seasonally. Reservations are required.

Look Rock Campground
Located on Foothills Parkway West between Walland, Tennessee, and Chilhowee Lake.

HIKING TRAILS

All hiking trails in the Abrams Creek Region are accessed from Abrams Road. There is a parking area for the Rabbit Creek Trail before the Abrams Creek Campground. The Cooper Road Trail is accessed from near Campsite #9. These trails connect to the Little Bottoms Trail, Hannah Mountain Trail, Cane Creek Trail, and the Gold Mine Trail.
