There are two museums at Statue of Liberty National Monument. On Liberty Island, home of the statue itself, the newly opened Statue of Liberty Museum has its own building and is accessible to all visitors to the island.
On Ellis Island, the entire visitor experience is the Ellis Island National Museum of Immigration. If this isn’t the largest museum in the world dedicated to the history of immigration, it’s right up there at the top.
