See the Picnic Areas web page for an interactive location map.
The Doane Rock Picnic Area at Cape Cod National Seashore has three covered pavilions, each with two or three tables and a grill, plus a few scattered tables that are out in the open, and a modern restroom facility. Everything is located alongside a dead-end road that branches off from Pinecrest Road, not at the parking area for Doane Rock (an actual boulder).
Unfortunately, the Doane Rock Picnic Area is not set up to host large groups, and for two reasons. One, none of the tables can be reserved, so you are taking your chances on getting a spot. Second, there is a two-hour parking limit. If you have a small group and can fit the event into two hours, this picnic area is an option, but be sure to arrive early for the best chance at snagging tables.
