While most Rangers at Mammoth Cave National Park spend their time conducting cave tours, they also give short lectures and guided walks of some of the trails near the Visitor Center. Unlike cave tours, all of these activities are free. For a schedule, see the National Park Service’s official Ranger-led Programs web page for the park.

There are also special events held throughout the year such as Bat Night and concerts inside the cave. See the park’s Special Events page for more information.
