Michigan State Memorial at Vicksburg National Military Park
Located at the Battery De Goyler tour stop at Vicksburg National Military Park, the Michigan State Memorial is made of granite and features a sculpture by Herbert Adams of a woman representing the “Spirit of Michigan.” The monument is 37 feet tall and was dedicated in November 1916.
