Picnic tables the Second Texas Lunette, Vicksburg National Military Park
There are two small picnic areas at Vicksburg National Military Park, both along the northern loop of the Battlefield Tour road. One is located next to the USS Cairo exhibit and Vicksburg National Cemetery, which is Tour Stop 8 on the tour. The other is located at Stop 12, the Second Texas Lunette. The cemetery picnic area has seven tables, and there are two tables at Stop 12. Neither location has grills. Because there is a fee to get into the battlefield, these are not picnic areas where you would want to hold a family reunion or other event. They are simply places to eat some food while you tour the battlefield.
