The National Park Service offers a variety of Ranger-guided tours year-round at Canaveral National Seashore. Tours include guided walks, boat tours on Mosquito Lagoon, canoe trips, and even fishing lessons. Some tours require a reservation and a fee, while others are free and you can just show up at the meeting place. Most activities are held in the winter months when the weather is cooler. For a current schedule visit Canaveral National Seashore’s Calendar web page.
For tours that require reservations, you can only reserve your spot seven days in advance. I advise being on the phone to the Apollo Beach Visitor Center one week in advance at the moment it opens—it’s like dialing in to win a radio show contest.
With a few exceptions, use of any photograph on the National Park Planner website requires a paid Royalty Free Editorial Use License or Commercial Use License. See the Photo Usage page for details.
