STOP 4: HAWKS GLIDE
The least interesting overlook on the Canyon Rim Drive in Little River Canyon National Preserve is Hawks Glide, for the Little River cannot be seen from here. Unless it is the fall and the leaves are changing color, you might as well skip right on by. I visited once in May and once in December (when there were no leaves on the trees), and I couldn’t see anything other than the canyon itself at either time.
