Covered pavilion with restrooms near the parking lot of Charles Pinckney National Historic Site
Charles Pinckney National Historic Site has a picnic area on the grounds of the Snee Farm near the parking lot. There are five tables but no grills. A few of the tables are on a shaded field, and a few are under a roomy, covered pavilion that also has benches and a restroom facility. Seems like an awfully big building considering that there are restrooms in the Visitor Center and that the park isn’t heavily visited.

It is possible to hold a large event such as a birthday party or family reunion at the park. A permit is required (see the National Park Service’s official Special Use Permit web page for details). If no event is taking place, all picnic tables are taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
