DELAWARE WATER GAP NATIONAL RECREATION
AREA BOAT LAUNCHES


There are ten locations along the Delaware River within Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area for launching watercraft, plus a ramp at Hidden Lake. Most can accommodate boats launched from a trailer and hand-launched watercraft (no trailer), while a few are for hand-launched watercraft only. Keep in mind that hand-launched does not mean a boat cannot be motorized, only that it is not launched from a trailer.

There are parking fees at some of the launch points, though there is no fee if you are being dropped off.

There are many small ponds and lakes within the park. Those with hand-launched watercraft can launch into any of these bodies of water. Many are not that convenient and require a substantial hike to get to.
