Iowa State Memorial at Vicksburg National Military Park
The last state memorial you will come to before exiting the Vicksburg National Military Park Battlefield Tour road is the Iowa Memorial, one of the more elaborate in the park. It is constructed of granite and features six bronze relief panels depicting different scenes at Vicksburg. The memorial was dedicated in November 1906.
